History
The Origin
Sai Mandir Wardha has a rich spiritual history deeply connected to the teachings of Shri Sai Baba of Shirdi. The temple was established by devoted followers who wished to bring the divine presence and blessings of Sai Baba closer to the people of Wardha and surrounding regions.
Foundation & Growth
What began as a small prayer hall has grown into a magnificent temple complex that serves as a beacon of faith and compassion. The temple trust was formally established to oversee the growing needs of devotees and to manage the various welfare programmes initiated in Sai Baba's name.
Sai Baba's Teachings
“Sabka Malik Ek” - God is One
Sai Baba taught the fundamental unity of all religions and the importance of faith (Shradha) and patience (Saburi). His teachings emphasize love, forgiveness, charity, and devotion to God regardless of religious denomination.
The Temple Today
Today, the temple conducts four daily aartis, hosts numerous festivals throughout the year, and serves thousands of devotees. The trust operates a Prasadalaya (free food service), provides medical aid, supports educational initiatives, and conducts various community welfare programmes — all in keeping with Sai Baba's vision of selfless service.
